The Decoda Skidmore Chamber Music Institute is an intensive summer music program to be held on the beautiful campus of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Led by faculty artists from Decoda, the Institute will enable young musicians to explore leadership and community service through the intensive study of chamber music.  During this two-week program, students will develop and hone fundamental ensemble and leadership skills including: teamwork, rehearsal technique, performance practice, communication, decision making, public speaking, and entrepreneurship.

July 13-26, 2014 - State-of-the-art Zankel Music Center featuring the beautiful Ladd Concert Hall will be home to the Institute

Ages: we are accepting applications from interested students as young as 15, and have removed the upper age limit. Students older than 20 are now welcome to apply.

Pre-formed groups are encouraged to apply, and may do so with a single application fee.

Winds: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon
Brass: trumpet, french horn, trombone, tuba
