Decoda is thrilled to announce that our 11th summer Chamber Music Festival, which will take place June 17 - 28, 2025 at our summer home, Warren Wilson College, in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville, North Carolina.
This unique summer festival is dedicated to training the next generation of young artists to rethink and reimagine their role in society. Through outstanding chamber music making, creative collaboration, and hands-on project design and development, DCMF cultivates the vision of community through music with the young artists of tomorrow.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Join the Decoda Chamber Music Festival (DCMF) to explore chamber music at the highest level while developing your skills in connecting with diverse audiences. As a young artist, you'll be embraced by the Decoda family through personalized mentorship, inspiring musical collaborations, and transformative performance opportunities in community settings that make a real impact.
Instrumentalists and pre-formed ensembles who play violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn (other instrumentalists are welcomed to apply)
Composer/performers
Applicants must be 18 or older by June 2025
DCMF participants are undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate musicians, who attend from a variety of colleges, universities and conservatories from around the world
