Milad Daniari joins Decoda after serving as Operations Manager at leading artist management agency Dispeker Artists International as well as Director of Artistic Operations at the Alba Music Festival Young Artists Program in the Piedmont region of Northern Italy. Additionally, Milad maintains a dynamic career as a bassist, performing regularly with the American Ballet Theatre, Albany Symphony, Vermont Symphony, and many other notable ensembles in the NYC area. In years prior, Milad was a Site Leader and Teaching Artist at the Empire State Youth Orchestra CHIME (“Creating Harmony in Musical Excellence”) program, bringing music into the lives of young students from economically disadvantaged communities in the Capital Region of New York. Milad was previously an inaugural member and Co-Principal Bass of The Orchestra Now, an innovative orchestral training fellowship at Bard College, where he participated in the Bard Prison Initiative, providing classical music performances in New York State Correctional Facilities. Prior to completing his Master of Music at Bard College, Milad attained his Bachelor of Music at the Manhattan School of Music as a student of Timothy Cobb, Principal Bass of the New York Philharmonic. Milad enjoys classic films, committing to the competitive sport of Dogspotting, and finding creative ways to cart his bass around the New York City subway.
