Influences and Inspirations: Decoda returns to Carnegie Hall

  • Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall 881 7th Avenue New York, NY, 10019 United States (map)

This program - spanning 3 centuries of music by J.C. Bach, Mozart, Schoenberg and Adés - sheds light on the influences of the composers on each another and how that inspiration formed their own unique musical language. The program is diverse, not only in style, but also in instrumentation and staging; using harpsichords, piano, strings, winds, and a curiously wandering clarinetist who is a bit hard to "catch".
