"Beethoven and Banjos" with Decoda

  • Beethoven and Banjos Upper Peninsula of Michigan USA

2016 marks the second annual week-long collaboration between members of Decoda (Carnegie Hall's Affiliate Ensemble) and a folk ensemble, creating and performing music together in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The music will be chosen and composed to be a direct celebration of the UP’s landscape, culture, and heritage.
— Beethoven and Banjos Artistic Director and UP native Evan Premo
We're extremely excited to be welcoming the duo Aallotar for our second season. All of this year's featured music will be from Finland.
